Co roku, podczas wakacji, Centrum Nauki Kopernik organizuje w przestrzeni "Parku odkrywców" cykliczne wydarzenia wchodzące w program "Lata w Koperniku".
Jednym z elementów atrakcji, czekających na zwiedzających Centrum, jest mobilna wypożyczalnia, w której korzystać można z gier planszowych, plenerowych, książek i magazynów.
Projekt zakłada serię mebli, które wpisują się w otoczenie, korelują z charakterystyczną bryłą CNK, a jednocześnie wyróżniają w przestrzeni, tak, by wypożyczalnia widoczna była z daleka i zachęcała do korzystania z niej.
Design of mobile rental of outdoor games for the Copernicus Science Centre.
Every year, during the holidays, the Copernicus Science Centre organizes the “Park of the explorers” series of events, that’s part of the program of “Summer in Copernicus”.
There’s a mobile rental of games and magazines, among many attractions. Visitors can enjoy board games, outdoor games, books and magazines.
The project involves creating a series of furniture that fits into the environment, correlates with the characteristic solid of the Center, and at the same time, stands out in space, so the set is visible from afar and encourages to use it.
Proste bryły i przenikające się siatki rożnej gradacji, nawiązują do architektury Kopernika, jej brył i podziałów w fasadzie.
Kolorystyka mebli z jednej strony nawiązuje do palety ugrów i czerwieni głównego budynku i planetarium – z drugiej do błękitu, charakterystycznego dla identyfikacji wizualnej CNK, ale też do nieba nad Kopernikiem, co szczególnie widoczne jest w scenerii blisko natury – Centrum Nauki Kopernik położone jest na Wybrzeżu Kościuszkowskim, w sąsiedztwie brzegu Wisły.
Simple solids and the various mesh gradation, refer to the architecture of Copernicus, the body and rythms in the façade.
The colors of furniture is red – correleting to the ocher and red palette of the façade – and blue, characteristic for the visual identification of CNK and also “reflecting” the sky over Copernicus, which is enchaced by the scenery close to the nature – the Copernicus Science Centre is located by the Wisła River.
W skład zestawu wchodzą: regał na gry planszowe, ekspozytor gier plenerowych, ekspozytor czasopism, totemy informacyjne, wózek kateringowy, stolik i krzesełka dla dzieci.
Wszystkie elementy wykonane są ze stali, malowanej proszkowo i płyty melaminowanej.

All parts are made of steel, powder coated and laminated board.
